Hyderabad: Weighed down by global clues, Indian rupee on Friday fell by 29 paise to end the day at a two-year low of 65.83 against US dollar.Increased demand for the US currency from banks and importers put pressure on the rupee.
Fears of economic crisis in China and possible interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserve also weighed on the Indian currency. Domestic factors such as growth constraints and weak corporate earnings also played spoilsport.
