Hyderabad: Pluss, an on-demand medicine and healthcare products delivery service, has launched its services in the city, promising customers of delivery within 60 minutes after an order is confirmed.

The online startup had in the past launched its services in New Delhi and Hyderabad is the second city to get its online sales services. It sells medicines and healthcare products through website and app. “Hyderabad launch is part of our expansion target, backed by the recently acquired pre-series A funding worth $1 million. So far, we have 11,000 subscribers using the Pluss app and with this expansion, we are also expecting the numbers to escalate," said Atit Jain, CEO, Pluss. Customers looking buy medicines through Pluss need to upload medical prescription and place order for medicines. Orders will be delivered within 60 minutes of receiving an order confirmation SMS from the customers.

The startup was founded in New Delhi earlier this year by Atit Jain, Madhulika Pandey and Tarun Lawadi. The startup has a team comprising licensed pharmacists and trained delivery executives, which is equipped to handle medicines properly and make sure that they are delivered on time with utmost care. With the health products market expected to grow at an annual rate of 15 per cent and touch $158.2 billion by 2017, Pluss has lined up aggressive expansion plans.
