IVRCL bags 351-cr orders
Infrastructure firm IVRCL Ltd on Friday said it had bagged contracts worth Rs 351 crore from Karnataka government. The works are related to irrigation and drinking water projects.
Hyderabad: Infrastructure firm IVRCL Ltd on Friday said it had bagged contracts worth Rs 351 crore from Karnataka government. The works are related to irrigation and drinking water projects.
The company’s Irrigation Division won works totaling Rs 324.67 crore related to supplying drinking water to 83 tanks in Ramanagara and Tumkur districts from Tumkur Branch Canal under Hemavathy Porject.
The work involves design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of vertical turbine pumping machineries, suitable surge protection system and construction of intake arrangements, among many other things. The works are awarded by Cauvery Neeravari Nigama Limited. The entire project is to be completed in 24 months.
Besides, the Water Division of the company has bagged order worth Rs 26.29 crore from Karnataka Urban Water Supply & Drainage Board for remodeling of water supply distribution system and allied works in Bannur town.
