Creditsafe invests in Skua Services

Creditsafe Group, a leading provider of company credit reports and business intelligence, on Thursday said it invested in the city-based Skua Services which had set up a software development centre here.
Hyderabad: Creditsafe Group, a leading provider of company credit reports and business intelligence, on Thursday said it invested in the city-based Skua Services which had set up a software development centre here.
Founded by Kishore Kancherla, a former employee of the Netherland-based Creditsafe, Skua Services will develop and test software for Creditsafe and other companies. Creditsafe has 75 per cent stake in the company while Kishore owns the rest.
“Skua has been established to act as a main testing resource for Creditsafe as the latter continues to expand its operations globally. It will also be able to provide a full range of bespoke software development and testing services for other clients in India and overseas,” Kishore told a media conference here.
Creditsafe, established in 1997 in Norway, has presence across eight European countries. It entered into the US in 2012, where it established two companies till date. “We have 1,900 companies as clients globally.
They use our business intelligence reports before using services of other companies or working with them. As many as 12 Creditsafe Group reports are downloaded every second,” said Agnus Gow, Chief Technology and Content Officer, Creditsafe. The group employs 1,300 people worldwide and has a development centre in the UK.
