New Delhi, India : Brightsun Travel India, a global travel service provider based in UK and India celebrated its 15th Anniversary of operations in India. To mark this occasion, the company organized a ‘Bollywood Boogie’ themed party, based on the Bollywood era in India, with guests encouraged to dress up in Bollywood bling.

The celebrations were marked with drinks, dinner and dancing at Galaxy Hotel, where the Brightsun offices are based. Several awards were presented at the ceremony which recognised the unique talents of Brightsun staff, including The Kismat Konnection Award for the best telephone etiquette and the Brightsun Recognition Award for the employee of the year.

Highlights of the event included performances by celebrities such as Anchor Comedian Gunjan Saxena, the renowned Magician Tulsi, Tarot Card Reader Renu Kain and the Balle Ni Balle dance group.

Speaking at the event, Deepak Nangla, Managing Director, Brightsun Travel said, “We are proud to have seen double-digit growth every year since investing in our call centre in Gurgaon. We would like to thank our customers for their loyalty and confirm to our suppliers that we are an excellent platform for distribution of their products. We have taken market share through the 32 years in UK travel industry and we would like to replicate a similar business model in India”.

The company used the event to launch its revamped online flight website www.traveasy.co.in which it hopes will kickstart the sales for the India market. Deepak Nangla went on to say “We will continue to launch further brands to cover the different passenger segments as India is projected to be the third largest travel market in the world by 2025”.
