'Pusthakamlo Konni...', Sri's new film

With back-to-back setbacks in the form of 'Aravind 2', 'Gola Srinu' and 'Love Cycle', actor Sree is pinning high hopes on his new flick, 'Pusthakamlo Konni Pageelu Missing'. The films teaser was launched on Saturday in Hyderabad. The actor said that it was a blessing in disguise that the film came his way. "Director Sajid came to me and asked whether I want to be a hero or a good artiste. I preferred the latter. He then asked me to watch the Tamil flick 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom'. Since I don't understand the language I asked my family members to watch it. They liked it immensely and within no time I was on board for the Telugu version," he said. He also said that he got many calls from the industry enquiring about the film. "Many producers and heroes requested me to stop the film mid-way so that they can remake it," he added. The film, a story about a guy who forgets a full year of his life, as he is about to get married, sees Supraja playing Sree's romantic interest. While Ansari is producing the flick, Gunwanth Sen is debuting as a composer.
