In her petition Anjali contended that her aunt Bharathi Devi along with her husband had refused to return her Valasravakkam apartment.
The actress also said that she was being threatened by her maternal aunty. She complained to the court that the police failed to take action despite her telling them about the huge amount of cash and gold her aunt had taken away from her. The court directed the police to look into the matter and adjourned the matter to next week.
