HYDERABAD: It is evident that the closing ceremony of the Children’s Film Festival (ICFFI) has been planned at Hyderabad for Wednesday evening. The most popular Tollywood actor, Pawan Kalyan will attend the ceremony at the Lalitha Kala Thornam at public gardens as a special invitee.

The fest began on November, 14 at the same venue for which Daggubati Rana attended as a special invitee. But, the entire focus during the inaugural ceremony was on around Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor.

When so many thoughts were wavering around the minds of Telugu movie fans, today’s participation of Pawan Kalyan in this event is likely to bring life into the episode. There were allegations from many that Tollywood actors have not been given due importance for this fest. Responding to the same, the officials said despite their timely invitation, no body from Tollywood had tuned up. More than 200 films were screened during the festival in various theatres, including Prasad’s IMAX.

The Governor of Andhra Pradesh, E S L Narasimhan and cinematography minister, D K Aruna will also take part in the closing ceremony. It is worth mentioning here that the festival is organized by the Children's Film Society India (CFSI), an autonomous body under the union ministry of information and broadcasting, and the Andhra Pradesh state government. The award winning film will be screened at the closing ceremony of the festival. Hyderabad has been the venue of the festival since 1995.
