Uday Kiran was introduced in the film industry by renowned Tollywood Youth film maker Teja for the film Chitram. Later he got popularity for his film Nuvvu Nenu which was released in 2001. Later films like Manasantha Nuvve, Nee Sneham, Sriram were box office hits.
The actor was last seen in the action entertainer Jai Sriram. Uday Kiran married Vishitha in October 2012.
