Uday's suicide: Unfair to blame Chiranjeevi Ever since the news of young Telugu actor Uday Kiran's suicide surface, speculations surrounding his death refuse to die down.
Amid all this, actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi's reputation has taken a beating. Right from Journalists and bloggers to fans and Uday's well wishers, many have alleged that the senior actor should be blamed for Uday Kiran's death for he put an end to Uday's budding career after his daughter's engagement to the actor broke. Fans also raised anti-Chiru slogans near Uday's body at the time of cremation.

We could dismiss this as an emotional outburst. However, this surely will come back to haunt the mega star. Isn't it unfair to hold one person responsible the actor's decision taken in a a weak moment?
Every media channel that talked about the Uday-Sushmitha (Chiru's daughter) engagement have maintained that the relationship was called off for unknown reasons. So how do we even know what happened?
When the engagement broke off, grapevine had it that it was at Pawan Kalyan's behest that Chiru broke the engagement after it was learnt that Uday was seen with another girl.
Wouldn't any father do the same? Whatever be the reason behind the failed relationship, Chiru should not have put an end to Uday's career, feel movie buffs.
Another section echo actor Srikanth's words saying in the film industry, all actors don't come with a family backing or god fathers, talent does play a big role in getting noticed.
If Uday Kiran was extremely talented and had pushed himself a little harder, none could have stopped him from being a star. Politics does come in the way, but the effects are short-lived.
So, it is irrational to link the actor's death with an episode that happened eons ago. Lots of developments have happened in Uday's life, so let's stop such ridiculous blame game.
