Dheerudu Telugu Movie Review, Rating

Telugu film Dheerudu, the dubbed version of the Tamil original Pattathu Yaanai hit theatres on Friday. Before we tell you about the movie, let's take a look at the production crew.

Gist of Movie:

The movie stars Vishal and Aishwarya Arjun in the lead roles. This is Arjun Sarja's daughter Aishwarya's debut film. Dheerudu is a masala action film which has more of comic elements. The story is old wine in a new bottle but for comic relief provided by Santhanam.

The first half is tolerable while the second half moves at a snail's pace. Dubbed songs doesn't help much. The female lead is wasted and make-up is too gawdy. Aishwarya must work a lot on her acting abilities if she's serious about a career in films. The unnecessary action scenes looks like forced elements to make it look like a mass masala entertainer. Comedy is action scenes too is a big relief.

Go watch it for comedy and nothing else - no romance, unwanted fights.
