Pawan's Jana Sena meet in Vizag: Stampede injures fans

The just concluded second meeting of Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena party saw a huge rush of people at the venue.

Thousands of fans and supporters of the actor gathered at the Indira Priyadarshini stadium in the port city of Visakhapatnam.

According to latest reports coming in, several fans were injured during a stampede at the venue.

It is learnt that at one stage, the police had to resort to lathicharge to bring people under control as they tried to barge into the dais.

Some overenthusiastic fans who managed to reach the stage were injured in a minor stampede, it is learnt.
