Rumour has it that Rajinikanth will be doing his next film after "Kochadaiiyaan" with director KS Ravikumar.

Speculations are rife that the film will go on floors on 20 May with an official pooja and a huge set is being erected in Mysore for the shooting, reported Sify.
It is also being said that "Singam 2" actress Anushka Shetty will be playing one of the female leads in the film. Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha too has reportedly been approached to play the other female lead role in the film. It seems Sinha is yet to give her nod for the project.

If the rumours turn out to be true, then it will be the third time that the superstar will be teaming up with Rajinikanth after "Muthu" and "Padayappa."
However, an official confirmation about the project is still awaited. Currently the superstar probably wants the focus to be only on his upcoming film "Kochadaiiyaan."
An official announcement on the actor's next project is expected to be made after "Kochadaiiyaan" hits theatres. The historic drama film was slated to hit screens on 11 April, but now buzz is that the film's release date has been pushed to May. It is being said that "Kochadaiiyaan" might release on 1 May, but an official word on the exact release date is still awaited.
Director Ravikumar has written the story and screenplay for "Kochadaiiyaan," which marks the directorial debut of Soundarya. The epic drama film will have Rajinikanth in double roles, whereas oher cast members include Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Nassar, Jackie Shroff, Sarathkumar and Aadhi.
