Lakshmi Manchu's Budugu first look

Directed by Manmohan, Budugu is a powerful and engaging thriller. Based on real life incidents, the film portrays some inexplicable and shocking things that happen to an eight-year-old boy upsetting an otherwise normal family. Produced under the banner of Hyderabad Innovatives Private Limited, the movie theme is based on the way the family comes out of these unforeseen twists that threaten to disturb their lives.

Director Manmohan said, "To my knowledge, a film of this kind has never come before. The film is inspired by real life incidents in the life of a family that is known to me. The story is written by me after a lot of research and deep discussions with child psychologists."

The first look of the movie is promising and already has created curiosity. Master Prem Babu plays the main protagonist Budugu while Manchu Lakshmi and Sreedhar Rao play vital roles in the movie. The movie is being shot at a fast pace; other cast includes Sana, Indu Anand, Baby Dolly, Sailaja Vani and Troy.
