About the movie

  • The movie is a remake of the Tamil movie Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam
  • A comedy movie with a mass appeal
  • There may not be a real concrete story in the movie, but the film is full entertainment right from scene 1
  • With a rural backdrop, the comedy scenes are something you don't have to break your head over.
  • If you can stay away from dissection the logic, then you can sit back and enjoy the movie. Sharan is sure a revelation as he can pull off the movie all by himself. His friend too has complemented him very well.
  • For those wanting to have some good laughs, Adyaksha is a good time pass
  • A village headman (Ravishankar) has the reputation of keeping 'honour before anything' attitude. When police begin investigating the murder of his daughter and her lover which he claims to have committed, the film goes into flashback mode. There is a gang (of two) of 'lazy boys' whose only job is to put up huge hoardings about their (non) achievements! The 'president' of this organisation, Sharan, uses the headman's daughter as the courier for his love letters to a school teacher. But it is the headman's daughter who finally falls in love with him. But our gun-totting headman has a lot of reputation at stake to allow the love affair. What transpires is a hilarious series of silly but entertaining incidents before the twist in the tale.
