I trailer takes YouTube by storm

The trailer of actor Vikram's upcoming magnum opus ‘I’, which was unveiled Monday, has crossed over three million views in less than three days on YouTube. The feat is a record of sorts for a regional Indian film till date. Directed by Shankar, ‘I’ has been made on a budget of Rs 185 crore. It also features Amy Jackson and Upen Patel in important roles. The film's soundtrack, which has music by AR Rahman, was recently unveiled in the presence of Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Currently Shankar is filming a song on Amy and Upen in Chennai. The shoot will go on for another three days. The makers are planning to release the film for Diwali but it looks uncertain at this juncture.
