Neelakanta is thrilled about Murder 4

National award winning director Neelakanta is quite thrilled joining forces with Bollywood ace producer Mahesh Bhatt for the remake of ‘Maaya’. To be made in Hindi as ‘Murder 4’, the film marks his entry into Bollywood. ‘When I conceived the idea of ‘Maaya’ I thought of making it in Hindi and Telugu but budget turned out to be an issue for the Hindi version.

But I’m glad it didn’t take off, for that it would have never given me an opportunity to work with Mahesh Bhatt, who is my favourite filmmaker. It was he who wanted me to direct the Hindi version. Truly, I’m very happy. I thank MVK Reddy and Madhura Sreedhar for producing Maaya,” said Neelanta in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
