Now, we hear the wait for the leading lady is finally over and if a grapevine doing the rounds in T town is to go by, then Telugu Ammayi Anisha Ambrose has been chosen to play the female lead in Gabbar Singh 2 opposite Pawan. And sources sau that K Ravindra (Bobby) who directed Ravi Teja's Power has been roped in to direct the movie.
Now, ever since this news got out filmnagar has been buzzing with rumours about why Pawan has suddenly shown interest in Gabbar Singh and wants to start shooting soon. Rumour has it that the secret is makers are worried that Sampath Nandi who had originally prepared the script for GS-2 might incorpoate a few elements into his new movie with Ravi Teja which means Pawan's film may not get the same kind of response. However, sources close to Pawan argue that these talks are rubbish as Pawan has his own value and position at the Box Office. The reason Pawan wants to shoot for this movie is because he will soon wind up Gopala Gopala.
