Venkatesh, an Atheist takes 'God' to court after an earthquake destroys his shop. Suddenly, Lord Krishna (PAwan Kalyan) shows up - does divine intervention occur? Watch the movie to find out. The film is a satirical comedy on God Vs Man.

Story Line:

Venkatesh (Gopala Rao) is an opportunistic business man who cashes in the faith of others. He makes his living of selling God idols. He plays the role of non believer.

One fine day, his life gets turned upside down when he speaks ill of the god and his presence with his wife(Shreya). Twist in the tale arises when a sudden earthquake causes a huge devastation and his shop gets completely demolished.

Gopala Rao approaches his insurance company to remurise his loss but was sadly, turned down by down terming it as an act of God. Left with no choice, an angry Gopala Rao decides to sue god in turn.

Rest of the story is as to how Gopala Rao manages to win this unique case, and where does Pawan Kalyan feature in all this set up.

Even though its Pawan mania, Victory Venkatesh occupied the screen with his brilliant performance. He is apt in his role of an atheist, and carries off a mature character quite convincingly.
The lifted himself off in all the courtroom scenes is quite good. He brings in a lot of simplicity to the film, and all his scenes with Pawan Kalyan have been designed exceptionally well.
Pawan Kalyan’s character is another added asset. He is simply awesome as Lord Krishna, and carries the entire second half on his shoulders. Pawan brings in an emotional effect and all the dialogues that he mouths are well written and thought provoking.
As usually, Pawan felt no difficulty in playing the playful role. He has played his character with a lot of ease and is especially good in all the combination scenes with Venkatesh.
Surprisingly the screen presence Pawan Kalyan was kept to minimum, which is to say, was a very good move. Heroine Shreya was offered the role of next to nothing.
There is not much for Bollywood superstar Mithun Chakraborty to do anything in the movie with his minor negative role.
The movie felt a bit lengthy for the story line.

According to the first reports coming in, the audience and film buffs have given a big thumbs up to the movie. Pawan and Venky's performances have been much raved about. A series of hilarious scenes particularly the court room drama is worth a watch. Eventhough it's a remake, a touch of local flavour makes it all the more unique. Watch it for Pawan and Venky.

Technical Review:

  • Cinematography lived up to the expectations. Camerawork in the film is clean and showcases the film in a good light.
  • Dialogues were tad bit over written.
  • Screenplay is neat as entire film runs on a single line.
  • Editing in the second half is poor as some scenes during the climax are a bit stretched out.
  • Anup Ruben’s music is decent, but only confined his best to back ground score.

Rating: 3.8/5
