Shiv Pandit of Shaitan and Boss fame, will be soon seen in Saurabh Varma's rib tickling family entertainer Solid Patels. Produced by Krian Media, the film releases worldwide on April 24, 2015. He plays the lead role of a quirky young Gujju Tom Patel, and co-stars with Shazahn Padamsee, Ali Asgar and Kettan Singh.

Shiv is back doing a comedy after his successful stint in the TV series FIR. "Shiv Pandit is an actor who has the ability to surprise you often, while shot retakes. Hence you will not see the same Shiv Pandit you saw in Shaitan.

In Solid Patels the audience will be pleasantly surprised to see the new and upgraded Shiv. He has an honest and positive energy, which reflects on screen" says director Saurabh Varma.

"As an actor I would like to play all kinds of different roles. I am glad that I am doing a comedy as I still get positive feedback from fans for my TV show FIR, asking me to do comedy. I am glad that they have loved the teaser of Solid Patels, and will see me in a different and funnier avatar", says Shiv Pandit.
Post Solid Patels, Shiv has signed his next titled 'Mantra' directed by Nicholas Kharkongor, which is now under production. In Mantra, Shiv plays a young businessman representing the aggressive business attitude seen in our country over the last few years. Mantra touches upon the social & political changes seen in our country from 1991 till today. Shiv will be seen re-uniting with his 'Shaitan' co-star Kalki Koechlin in this film. The film also stars Rajat Kapoor, Adil Hussain & Lushin Dubey.
Sources claim that Shiv is on the verge of signing one more film for a prominent studio. "It is too early to talk about it, as things are still being discussed. I only want to do films which creatively excite me and hence taking time in reviewing more films at present", says Shiv Pandit.
