Telugu film industry has lost another great actor. Well-known comedian M S Narayana who was critical and was undergoing treatment at KIMS hospital, breathed his last on Friday. He was 63. He is survived by wife Kala Prapurna, son Vikram and daughter Sasi Kiran.

Hyderabad: Telugu film industry has lost another great actor. Well-known comedian M S Narayana who was critical and was undergoing treatment at KIMS hospital, breathed his last on Friday. He was 63. He is survived by wife Kala Prapurna, son Vikram and daughter Sasi Kiran.

MS Narayana was shifted to Hyderabad KIMS Hospital for better treatment from Bhimavaram. He was suffering from kidney and heart-related problems. On Thursday evening, he was critical and breathed his last at 9.40 am on Friday. Mylavarapu Surya Narayana, well-known as MS Narayana, was born on April 16, 1951 in Nidamarru of West Godavari district. He started his career as a lecturer and later entered the film industry. His debut film was Lingababu, a love story.

He acted in nearly 700 movies and also written dialogues for eight films and won the prestigious Nandi award five times for his roles in Ram Sakkanodu, Sarduku Podam Randi, Sivamani and Dukudu Movies. He also won the Filmfare award for his role in Dukudu movie. Patas, Reyi and Shankara movies are ready for release. The last rites will be held on Saturday at his farm house in Vikarabad.
