Manchu Lakshmi elected MAA VP for second term Daughter of veteran actor and educationist Manchu Dr. Mohanbabu, Manchu Lakshmi who is an Indian film actress, producer and a television host on a repeat run has been elected as the Vice President of Movie Artists of Association (MAA).

Manchu Lakshmi got elected as the new Vice-President of MAA unopposed for a second term. In the elections to office bearers of the MAA, character actor Tanikella Bharani got elected as the Executive Vice President, Shivaji Raja as the general secretary and comedian Ali bagged the e post of secretary. All of them were elected unanimously for the current year in the MAA elections and only final MAA President Post will be held on March 29.
Film industry sources say that there’s a tough contest between Jayasudha and Rajendra Prasad for the post of MAA President. As of now Rajendra Prasad has high chances with support from senior actors but Jayasudha has got strong backing from ex-Maa president Murali Moahan and his team.
