Ranveer missed Bhansali on Dil Dhadakne Do sets

Every day was like a party on the sets of Zoya Akhtar's ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, but by the end of it, actor Ranveer Singh craved for some "Bhansali action". Ranveer is happy to have worked in Zoya's style of cinema, which more of "slice of life" and entertaining, but it didn't give him the opportunity "to scream, to sweat, to lose out voice and all" _ making him miss his ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ director.

"By the end of Zoya's film, I was like 'I need to go to Bhansali' because acting in her (Zoya Akhtar) film is so casual and candid. You are sitting on the sofa and talking... sitting in the bar and talking... if we are walking, then also we are having conversation," Ranveer said in an interview.

"So it is a very candid and casual. During the shoot, I had jokingly said to PC (Priyanka Chopra) that 'I can't resist myself. I have to go to Bhansali. I want to shout out, do action stuff, do aggressive scenes and cry"... and this is not in Zoya's films," Ranveer, who did intense scenes in Bhansali's ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela-Ram Leela’, said.
