Plot: Sudeepa is entrusted with the responsibility of bringing back his aunt who was separated from their family years ago after her marriage to the love of her life. Sudeep comes to his aunt's place only to realise that his aunt is happy and not missing her dad one bit. How Sudeep convinces his aunt to come back home to keep up the promise made to his grandpa forms the crux of the story.
About the movie: The film is a remake of the Telugu hit Atharintiki Daredi which featured Pawan Kalyan, Samantha, Pranitha Subhash, Nadiya and Boman Irani in important roles.
Review: Sudeep has a winner in Ranna. This film will be a blockbuster for sure. Madhoo is good so are the leading ladies. Prakash Rai has paid justice to his role so has Dynamic King Devaraj who is back on the big screen after a long time. Sadhu Kokila and Chikkanna's comedy scenes deserve mention.
