The new kid on the block. Actor Satya Karthik, who is making his big screen debut with Friday release ‘Tippu’, says it was a natural choice for him to be part of films as he grew up in the environment thanks to his father who is a well known distributor.
Actor Satya Karthik, who is making his big screen debut with Friday release ‘Tippu’, says it was a natural choice for him to be part of films as he grew up in the environment thanks to his father who is a well known distributor. “I used to visit film sets and loved the atmosphere. I had decided that one day I will definitely become an actor. And ‘Tippu’ is my dream come true,” shares the actor.
Having learnt acting from renowned trainer Satyanand for four months along with friend Varun Tej, Kiran says he plays an NRI return in the flick. “For a beginner, my role had several variations. Though the situation got to me on the first day I managed to weather it,” he smiles.
Adds the actor, who has an MBA degree to his name: “The film unfolds in Mysore and is more of action drama between the goons of the place and me.” Besides in talks for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, Karthik is currently associated with director Chunia’s yet untitled project. The lady director has been associated with Annapurna Studios for long.
