Speculations were rife that Trisha, who is fond of Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa, has decided to join the AIADMK party. Some reports went overboard and said that she already met the Tamil Nadu CM and informed her about her decision.
Amidst all these rumors, Trisha took to Twitter to put an end to these speculations. "Contrary to recent reports...NO I am not joining politics.Not now n not in the near future...I rest my case ;)," she posted.
She is currently busy with two movies. She is playing a female lead in ‘Thoonga Vanam‘ starring Kamal Haasan.
