Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu is garnering huge response from the audience and the box office collections don't seem to stop with the movie entering the Rs 100 crore club in it's very first week.

The movie's success has made its way for a Bollywood remake with Shruti Haasan reprising her role even in the Hindi version. However, Superstar Mahesh Babu who ever had any inclination towards Hindi films won't be seen in the Hindi version of 'Srimanthudu'.

Earlier, the Superstar chose not to act in the remake of his blockbuster movie, 'Pokiri' which was remade in Hindi as 'Wanted' with Salman Khan in the lead. So, Mahesh Babu will not be reprising his role of Harsha, the son of a multimillionaire who goes against his father to uplift the condition of rural areas.

But it seems Shruti Haasan is elated to be part of the Hindi film and has apparently discussed the same with her father Kamal Haasan. While 'Srimanthudu' was appreciated for the concept and the sizzling chemistry between Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan, the makers finding a worthy substitute for Mahesh Babu is going to be scrutinized as the actor has been receiving rave reviews for his performance - some even calling it his best performance.
