Sonarika BhadoriaAfter essaying the role of a village belle in Bellamkonda Srinivas’ film, the Mumbai actress will be seen as a street smart girl clad in the ‘tapori’ look in her next. “I play a street-smart girl with a lot of attitude and abuses everyone with my killer looks. I fight with the goons and it’s a very edgy and upfront role,” describes Sonarika.

The actress, who plays Vishnu’s love interest in the film admits enacting such a role was difficult. “The body language for the role should be very firm and I’m not used to that. The weird gestures I need to do for the character was tough to get it right. But the team helped me and I was able to pull it off.”

Interestingly, Sonarika is mouthing dialogues without any prompting for the Bellamkonda Srinivas’ film, a remake of Tamil film ‘Sundarapandian.’ “The makers told me not to take dialogue prompting since it benefits me down the line. Although it was tough initially, I realized it benefitted me a lot. Now I am becoming familiar with the language (Telugu) and can strike a conversation too,” smiles the actress.
