Namitha Pramod excited about her Telugu debut. Malayalam actress Namitha Pramod is all set to make a splash in Tollywood as she will be seen playing Aadi’s love interest in his forthcoming film ‘Chuttalabbayi’, directed by Veerabhadram Chowdary.

Malayalam actress Namitha Pramod is all set to make a splash in Tollywood as she will be seen playing Aadi’s love interest in his forthcoming film ‘Chuttalabbayi’, directed by Veerabhadram Chowdary.

Sharing details on how she bagged the offer, Namitha says, “The makers saw my earlier films and they approached me for the role. I was pleased with the script and decided to be on-board. Moreover, I believe this is the time right for me to foray into other languages. I think I could not have got a better launch than this film in Tollywood.”

Talking about her role, the former TV actress states, “I can’t reveal too much about it, but I play a chirpy girl. Although I played such roles earlier, it was interestingly designed in this film. I’m excited and looking forward to the new stint.”

Namitha admits that she’s a “stranger to the language.” “I’m totally new to Telugu but my director and team is helping me out with the dialogues,” smiles the former model, who shot to fame with ‘Traffic’ in Malayalam.
