Avantika Mishra, who made her debut in Telugu with Neelakanta’s critically acclaimed psychological thriller ‘Maaya’ last year, seems to have a made a move on the career front at last.
The model-turned-actress will be seen playing the lead lady in a romantic comedy opposite Sree Vishnu of ‘Prema Ishq Kadhal’ fame. To be helmed by B Jaya, the yet-untitled project will go on floors next year.
A source to close to the director says, “The director was looking for a dusky face and Avantika matched her requirements after auditioning and look tests.”
