Tejaswi turns a con girl

Tejaswi Madivada is a busy bee these days. After grabbing a lot of eyeballs with her performance in films like ‘Anukshanam’ ‘Kerintha’ and ‘Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju’, the bubbly actress is set to enthrall the audience in the role of a con girl in her forthcoming film ‘Rojulu Marayi’, directed by debutant Murali. According to the actress, her role is a break away from all the chirpy parts she has essayed so far.

“I don’t want to be confined to playing full of life roles but want to be versatile. I play a con girl in the film, a romantic entertainer. I dupe people around me and it’s a role that has come as a breath of fresh air. It was interestingly etched and the way it unfolds made me to green-lit it,” she says, adding that it has been fun shooting for the project as the cast and crew is mostly young.

Interestingly, Tejaswi is paired opposite Parvateesam (‘Kerintha’ fame Nookaraju) in the film. “He’s a fun guy to work with and we share some fond memories from our earlier film,” explains Tejawsi, who is busy working on multiple films in Telugu and Tamil.
