Awarding Parineeti's weight-loss 'not worth', feels Rishi Kapoor
The recent victim of actor Rishi Kapoor\'s outspoken nature is none other than the very bubbly Prineeti Chopra and that too because of her \' weight-loss\'.
New Delhi : The recent victim of actor Rishi Kapoor's outspoken nature is none other than the very bubbly Prineeti Chopra and that too because of her ' weight-loss'.
In an interview with a leading newspaper, the 73-year-old actor ridiculed the 27-year old actress, who was awarded for a toned new look which she debuted last December after having worked on her fitness for nine months.
"I couldn't believe it when they recently gave an award to Parineeti Chopra for losing weight. Can someone please give me an award for gaining weight?" said the actor.
Doubting the credibility of such awards, the veteran actor said, "I never did believe in popular awards. It's gotten much worse now. I use award trophies as doorstops in my home. What they have done to film awards is truly tragic. They've reduced them to trivia. Shameless."
Rishi Kapoor, who raises controversies with his tweets every now-and-then, drew flak on Twitter last June for joking about actress Sonakshi Sinha's weight.
It seems the veteran actor does not even bother about the consequences of his tweets and statements.
