Sans the usual glitz

The music launch of Ram Gopal Varma’s long-delayed ‘Attack’, starring Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Surabhi, took place in Hyderabad on Tuesday minus the usual flashiness that one generally associates with a big film soundtrack launch.

RGV, who made Ghazal Srinivas croon for the film, said that he used to hate ghazals so much that they played a part in his divorce with his ghazals-loving wife Ratna. “Thanks to Srinivas, I’ve developed affection towards ghazals now,” he chuckled. C Kalyan, Ghazal Srinivas, T Ramasatyanarayana and Poonam Kaur among others were spotted at the do.
