Prakash Raj turns to Ramayan
Actor-filmmaker Prakash Raj, who received critical acclaim for ‘Ulavacharu Biriyani,’ is ready with his next directorial ‘Manavoori Ramayanam.’ Made in Telugu and Kannada simultaneously, the film, featuring Priyamani, Satyadev, Prudhvi and Raghubabu, is currently in post-production.
Actor-filmmaker Prakash Raj, who received critical acclaim for ‘Ulavacharu Biriyani,’ is ready with his next directorial ‘Manavoori Ramayanam.’ Made in Telugu and Kannada simultaneously, the film, featuring Priyamani, Satyadev, Prudhvi and Raghubabu, is currently in post production. Shot in Hyderabad, Shadnagar and Coorg, Prakash Raj’s favourite technicians composer Ilaiyaraaja and editor Sreekar Prasad are working on the film.
“How an incident during Sri Ramanavami changes the life of a well respected individual (played by Prakash Raj) who returns to India from Dubai is the film’s plotline. Every human has in him a Ram and a Ravan. The film addresses it,” read a press release from the production house. The trailer which was released on Friday received a good response from the moviegoers. Prakash Raj is keen on releasing the film next month.
