The film\'s story is about two men- one loves nature while the other loves people. the Movie has got the strong word of mouth translating into Box Office collection.

Janatha Garage got off to a nice opening worldwide. As per the early trade reports the movie earned over 25 crores at the worldwide Box office on the first day and has become the biggest opener for Junior NTR and Mohanlal. Janatha Garage was much anticipated Telugu movie of the year. It has created a lot of Buzz before the release. The movie was released on over 2000 screens worldwide which include 1200 screens in Telugu states-Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, 480 screens of Kerala and Karnataka, 150 screens in the rest of the India, 200 screen in USA and 197 screens of other International markets.
The film is expected to gross over Rs. 50 crores in the opening weekend. Since it has released on Thursday it has a very good chance of shining through the weekend at the box Office. Junior NTR, Mohanlal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Koratla Siva and Devi Sri Prasad with these big names the movie has created much hype and expectations about the film much before the release. The film is said to be made on the budget of Rs 40 Crore.
Janatha Garage is said to be the third Biggest Tollywood opener of 2016, after Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Barhmotsavam, Which grossed Rs 40 Crores and Rs 30 Crores at the Box Office on their opening day.
