Samantha Spiro joins Doctor Who

‘Games of Thrones’ actress Samantha Spiro is joining the cast of ‘Doctor Who’. Spiro revealed during an appearance on BBC Breakfast that she has filmed a ‘Doctor Who’ episode, although she did not give out details of her character, reported Digital Spy. "Ill be in this series of Doctor Who. I cant say how, I cant say who, I cant say where," she says.

Spiro has appeared in ‘Game of Thrones’ as Samwell Tarlys bullied mother Melessa in the past. The stage and screen veteran also plays Barbara Windsor in the upcoming BBC TV biopic "Babs". Spiro joins an impressive crop of guest stars for Doctor Whos tenth series, including the return of both Michelle Gomez as Missy and John Simm as The Master.
