Super Star Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest actors from Tollywood in the overseas market. Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu movie stands as second highest grossing Telugu film in the US.
Overseas Distributors used to be in rush to snap rights of Mahesh Babu's films. But, this time, it took a long time to find a buyer for Mahesh Babu's Spyder.
Earlier, Producer of Spyder quoted a very high price around Rs.21 Cr to Distributors for the rights. But, eventually, they have come down to sell the rights for normal price.
Finally, the US rights of Spyder were snapped by ATMOS and AZ India for Rs. 15.5 crore which includes both Telugu and Tamil versions of the film for entire North America. Rest of the overseas rights will be sold as a separate deal.
Industry sources predict, that Mahesh Babu's Spyder should collect above $5 million to be in safe zone. Buyers are trusting on Mahesh Babu's Star Power.
