Nani turns cricketer for ‘Jersey’
After playing a student in films like Nenu Local and Ninnu Kori, reigning star Nani will be essaying the role of a cricketer in his upcoming film Jersey He has teamed up with young director Gautam Tinnanuri, who made an impressive directorial debut with Malli Raava, for the sportscentric entertainer
After playing a student in films like ‘Nenu Local’ and ‘Ninnu Kori’, reigning star Nani will be essaying the role of a cricketer in his upcoming film ‘Jersey’. He has teamed up with young director Gautam Tinnanuri, who made an impressive directorial debut with `Malli Raava,’ for the sports-centric entertainer.
Nani plays a cricketer Arjun in the film and he has been specially trained for the role. ‘Jersey’ has been launched officially with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Kannada beauty Shraddha Srinath is the female lead.
‘Jersey’ will have a cute love story layered with a strong message. Trivikram was the chief guest at the pooja ceremony. S Naga Vamsi will produce ‘Jersey’ under the Sithara Entertainments banner. Anirudh Ravichander hs given the background score for the film and the regular shoot will be commencing from November. After a disappointing film ‘Agyanathavasi’, the talented Tamil composer has to prove a point with this sports drama.
