Directing a love story is not something new for Trinadha Rao Nakkina. He has already helmed some pure love stories like 'Nenu Local', 'Cinema Chupista Mama' and entertained the audience. He now teamed up with young and energetic hero Ram for his next outing 'Hello Guru Prema Kosame'. Touted to be a romantic comedy, the film hit the screens today. Anupama Parameswaran who has worked with Ram in his previous movie romanced him again. Music Director Devi Sri Prasad worked with Ram for the sixth time. Dil Raju who is presenting this film has pinned all his hopes on this film. Let's see how far the movie has lived up to the expectations.
Sanju (Ram) comes to Hyderabad in order to search a job for himself. He gets the stay at his uncle (Prakash Raj) home. There, he falls for uncle's daughter (Anupama Parameswaran). She does not realize that Sanju is loving her but his uncle realizes and starts worrying about the same. All he tries is to protect his daughter as much as possible. What happens then? What happens to the love story in the end? Forms the story of the movie.
Ram looked energetic and handsome and delivered his best performance. His role entertains us to the core. He played a romantic guy role yet again but gave his best for the role. Anupama Parameswaran kept on getting better with each film. She looked absolutely stunning in the film and delivered a beautiful performance. She also maintained a good chemistry with Ram and they both looked cute together. After the lead pair, Prakash Raj is the one who will entertain us with his wonderful performance. He not only makes the audience laugh in some scenes but also makes them emotional. He did a great job in the movie and sure gets a big piece of cake for his performance. Posani Krishna Murali did a decent job. Sithara once again gave her best in this film. Suresh and Jaya Prakash also delivered good performances. The rest of the cast made their presence felt.
The production values by Shirish and Lakshman under Sri Venkateswara Creations are lavish. The producers haven't compromised in terms of quality. Devi Sri Prasad is definitely the biggest asset for the film. His songs and BGM are too good. Cinematography by Vijay C Chakravarthy is also nice. All the visuals are grand and appealing. His camera angles are also nice. Editor Karthika Srinivas ensured that no boring scene made it to the final cut. He did a great job. The runtime of the film is crisp.
Like every other movie of Ram, 'Hello Guru Prema Kosame' also has a routine story but the elements that engage the audience will be the fast narration and entertainment. Trinadha Rao Nakkina executed the story really well. 'Hello Guru Prema Kosame' doesn't have a great story but the non-stop entertainment won't disappoint the audience.
The comedy in the movie will bring laughters in the theatres. The relationship between heroine and her father is shown really well. The film also has a few shortcomings but the film is a joyous and fun-filled ride. The first half of the movie is decent. The interval twist is good. The second half is also entertaining. The climax is predictable. To conclude, 'Hello Guru Prema Kosame' is an entertaining love story. If you like to watch love stories, then give it a try.
