​Countdown For the Battle Begins Says Sonu Sood

The handsome hunk and Dapper Dan of Bollywood, actor Sonu Sood is all set to share the screen with Ranveer Singh in forthcoming Simmba. The talented actor unveils a new poster from the movie on his social media profile.

Actor Sonu Sood, who plays the main antagonist in Simmba, expressed that the countdown to the battle has begun. He captioned the poster, “Countdown for the battle begins @RanveerOfficial #simmba #RohitShetty @karanjohar @DharmaMovies”

And we can’t wait for this battle!

Simmba is Rohit Shetty directorial, featuring Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood in the lead roles. The film is a spin-off of the Singham franchise with Ajay Devgn reprising his role of Bajirao Singham.

The film follows Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao, a corrupt police officer hailing from the same town as Singham, who is forced to transform himself and choose a more righteous path after tragedy strikes those near him.

Sangram "Simmba" Bhalerao (Ranveer Singh) is an antiheroic orphan-turned-cop from Shivgadh, the same town where Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) was raised. Contrary to Bajirao's integrity, Simmba enjoys and takes full advantage of the lifestyle of a corrupt cop. However, when Simmba's loved ones are abused, he finds himself transformed and forced to choose a more righteous path.

Simmba is loosely inspired by the Telugu-language film Temper (2015).

The movie releases on 28th December 2018.
