The official handle of Taran Adarsh confirmed the film on social media. He also dropped the first look of Ayushmann Khurrana. He captioned it, “IT’S OFFICIAL... Ayushmann Khurrana is collaborating with Anubhav Sinha on his next directorial, titled Article 15, which has him playing a cop for the first time. The film went on the floors in Lucknow on March 1.
Article 15 in the Indian Constitution prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
The film has an ensemble cast, featuring Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, and Zeeshan Ayyub among others. Besides Article 15, Ayushmann will also be seen in the Ekta Kapoor production Dream Girl.
The actor is scheduled to start shooting for Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming production, Bala, which marks his reunion with Bhumi Pednekar after Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
