Two Arrested for Raping Minor Girl, Raping a minor girl in Rajendranagar. The Rajendranagar police on Monday arrested two auto-drivers for allegedly raping a minor girl who was out on the streets collecting alms.
Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police on Monday arrested two auto-drivers for allegedly raping a minor girl who was out on the streets collecting alms.
The accused Irfan, 24, and Mehraj, 24, had offered her candies and lured her into a dilapidated building at Suleman Nagar in Rajendranagar on November 6 and had allegedly outraged her modesty. She screamed for help, but there was none around to come to her rescue. The victim was admitted to a hospital as she fell unconscious following the sexual assault.
On interrogation, the duo confessed to have committed the offence as she frequently was found alone near the stand for many days. They admitted that they deserted the girl after she suffered heavy bleeding due to the assault.
She was assured of financial support by officials of Integrated Children Development Scheme (ICDS) recently. A case has been registered under Section 376 (Rape) and Nirbhaya Act of the IPC.
