In a shocking incident five girls from the same family, aged between 8 and 17 years, were allegedly murdered in a village near Gaya in Bihar on Wednesday night.
According to reports from district officials, the victims, daughters of three brothers, lived in the same house. The girls' brothers were left unharmed by the accused, and the police are considering personal enmity as a motive.
The police, after speaking to the family, who have accused distant relatives as suspects, say that these maybe revenge killings and maybe linked to the alleged rape of a young girl that occurred recently
