Hyderabad: The Commissioner’sTask Force on Tuesday apprehended two persons and seized a 7.65 calibre pistol with 6 live rounds, and foiled their plan to rob persons involved in hawala transactions.
According to police, Deepak Kumar,45, proprietor of a computer institute, and Chintala Madhu,30, a hardware technician, conspired to rob hawala amount from the transporters. Madhu, who was already involved in a dacoity case, befriended Deepak Kumar who was in possession of a pistol which was procured from Dehradun for Rs 60,000.
Both struck a deal to share the booty after executing their plan.
Police arrested them near Uppal Bus stop and handed them over to SHO Gopalapuram Police Station for taking further action.
