Man brutally murdered in Kalapathar locality, A 30-year-old man was found murdered near Mir Alam Tank, under Kalapathar police limits on Sunday.
Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man was found murdered near Mir Alam Tank, under Kalapathar police limits on Sunday.
Police later identified the deceased as Mohd Ali, a resident of Nawab Saheb Kunta in Falaknuma.
“His body was found at Hassan Nagar near Mir Alam Tank with stab injuries on his body.
He was stabbed several times on his head and stomach with sharp objects, resulting his immediate death,” ACP( Charminar) K Ashok Chakravarthy said, adding that the victim came to meet her in-laws in the afternoon when the assailants took him to lonely place and stabbed him mercilessly.
Ali’s wife Razia Sultana him against her family’s wishes six months ago. Razia’s brothers called Ali for a lunch on Sunday and after that Ali was found missing, the ACP said.
The dead body has been shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem examination.
A case has been registered under Section 302 of the IPC.
