Six held for robbery

Hyderabad: The Task Force police on Tuesday arrested six persons on charges of looting gold ornaments from Narsimha Reddy, a marketing executive of Vaishnavi Jewellers in Humayun Nagar on May 30. They recovered the stolen gold weighing 3.8 kg, two motorcycles and three cell phones from their possession.

The accused were identified as Buran Sharief, 27, of Moghalpura, Khaja Fasiuddin, 28, of Masab Tank and Md Iqbal, 19, Atif Ali Baig, 19, Syed Arsha, 23, Goru, all residents of Talabkatta. All these accused were arrested by the Task Force sleuths on Tuesday. “Efforts are on to nab Imran who is absconding,” the police said.
