Two students commit suicide

A 17-year-old girl committed suicide following her failure to clear the intermediate supplementary exams. The deceased, V Rashmi, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Pet Basheerabad on Friday night.
Hyderabad: A 17-year-old girl committed suicide following her failure to clear the intermediate supplementary exams. The deceased, V Rashmi, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Pet Basheerabad on Friday night.
She was upset as she could not clear her intermediate supplementary exams, whose results were announced on Friday morning. In another case, K Santosh, 15, a 10th class student, succumbed to injuries which he sustained after setting himself ablaze.
Santosh took the extreme step at his residence in Chilkalguda and died at the Gandhi Hospital on Saturday morning. According to Chilkalguda police, Santosh was weak in studies and the same is suspected to have driven him to suicide.
