Newly wed sexually assaulted

Hyderabad: A newly-wed 19-year-old housewife has allegedly been gang-raped by two strangers on Monday. According to the Hayathnagar Police,

the victim along with her husband, a labourer, migrated to the city recently from Bihar and were living at Kuntloor.

On Tuesday afternoon, two strangers entered her house knowing that the victim’s husband was not present.

The woman in her complaint stated that when she tried to stop the duo, they pushed her aside and raped her. She recalled that the accused called each other Kailash and Raju,

but did not know them personally. Basing on the complaint, a case has been registered under Section 376 of the IPC and a search is on to nab the accused.
