A senior assistant at District Education Office was trapped by the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials when he allegedly accepted bribe on Friday. The senior assistant, according to ACB officials, had demanded Rs 4,000 from Syed Shabir, owner of a building in which Government Primary School was functioning, for clearing the file relating to the rent of the building.
