Karimnagar: Mystery surrounds the two names – P V R Kashyap and B R Rao – that appeared in the purported suicide note left by owner of the Ken Crest School.

Prasada Rao, who committed suicide on October 29, alleged in the suicide note that three persons were responsible for his death. They were identified as Kashyap and B R Rao and Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Mohan Reddy Kashyap and Rao are said to be resident of Hyderabad.

What is surprising is that no action was taken to verify the background of Kashyap and Prasada Rao. Several police officers allegedly invested in the moneylending business run by suspended Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Mohan Reddy. Local police refused to comment on the controversy because the investigation into the case was entrusted to the State CID police.

Before ending his life, the Ken Crest School owner wrote a two-page letter in which he narrated that he had borrowed Rs 75 lakh from Mohan Reddy at 4 per cent interest in October 2013 and repaid Rs 50 lakh. But Mohan Reddy continued to pester him for more interest money.

Prasada Rao gave the address of Mohan Reddy but wrote only Hyderabad as the address of Kashyap and Rao. He signed and also put the date and time at the end of the two pages of his suicide note. A few police officials expressed doubt as to why Prasad Rao signed on both the pages of the suicide note.
